EFAS Travelling Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for young doctors to follow a fully immersed training with the leading European Foot and Ankle surgeons for the period of three weeks, observing and learning first hand all while travelling across Europe!
We are providing 2 different routes. During those 3 weeks the fellows will visit up to six different clinics, 2-day visits for each clinic.
EFAS Fellowship Committee is pleased to announce the dates and centers for the 2026 EFAS Travelling Fellowship Programme. This fellowship has been an excellent opportunity for several young doctors to follow a fully immersed training with the leading European Foot and Ankle surgeons for the period of three weeks, observing and learning first hand and to get direct contact with many renowned centers and experienced colleges. EFAS will cover travel expenses and housing.

6 applicants will win this EFAS Travelling Fellowship. The programme is divided in 2 different routes.
All the fellows are invited to present a report during the EFAS Congress 2026.

Northern road :

21st and 22nd September 2026 : Joris Hermus, UMC+, Maastricht, NETHERLANDS.
24th and 25th September 2026 : Stefan Rammelt, University Center for Orthopaedics, Trauma and Plastic Surgery, Dresden, GERMANY.
28th and 29th September 2026 : Peter Bock, Private surgery office, Vienna, AUSTRIA.
1st to 3rd October 2026 : EFAS Congress, Augsburg, GERMANY.

Southern road :
