How to become an EFAS member?

EFAS offers 2 types of Full Memberships:

National Societies (€70 per member per annum). This type of membership is for National Foot and Ankle Societies within Europe. The applying society must be a National Society of predominantly orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to the advancement of foot & ankle surgery within their own country. Members of the National Society accepted for affiliation with EFAS will become full members of EFAS, which entitles them to full member benefits and enables them to vote at the General Assembly and be elected to Council, unless they fall into the category of Associate membership, if applying independently as an individual to EFAS (vide infra).

If you are a foot and ankle surgeon residing and working in a European country where there is an EFAS-affiliated National Society, you can automatically become an EFAS member by joining this national society. The full list of all EFAS National Societies is available here. Once your national membership is approved, the secretary of the society will report your profile to EFAS, activating your EFAS Affiliated National Society Membership.

If you are a National Society that wishes to become affiliated with EFAS and complies with EFAS membreship requirements, you may apply for membership by selecting a respective option below.

Individual European (Full) Member - (€70 per annum). This type of membership is for individual European orthopaedic and trauma surgeons with strong interest in foot and ankle surgery residing in a country where there is no EFAS-affiliated National Society.  The applying individual must demonstrate commitment to foot and ankle surgery through their membership application. Full membership entitles to full membership benefits, as well as voting at the General Assembly and be elected to Council.
