The Scientific Committee, under the supervision from EFAS Council, is in charge of organising the scientific content of the following EFAS Events:

- EFAS International Congress (Bi-Annual Congress): Over 700 Orthopaedic surgeons with Faculty from over 20 different countries gather for a unique educational foot and ankle event. EFAS Congress includes conferences, debates, round tables, case-based session, interaction with Industry via workshops, and a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.

- EFAS Advanced Symposia (held in December, the year where there is no congress): The hub for the world foot and ankle community eager to learn about the last breakthroughs in foot and ankle surgery. Usually focused on cases and complications. A winter must for all those who want to enjoy and improve their practice.

- EFAS Specialty Day/Sessions at EFORT Congress (yearly): Foot and ankle diversity throughout Europe covering topics of interest for all the Orthopaedic Community.

The Scientific Committee propose and invite speakers and moderators for these events.

Over the last two years EFAS SC has also conducted webinars and helped the Council with online activities within EFAS. Biannually, all members of the SC evaluate all abstracts sent for EFAS Congress. All members of EFAS SC meet at least twice a year (usually during EFORT Congress (May-June), and during EFAS Congress or Advanced Symposium. The Committee Chair is invited to report all activities of the SC to EFAS Council.
